ALEJANDRO ALMANZA
Systems engineer, music producer, arranger, composer and pianist was born in Ibague Tolima, his artistic life begun at the age of 5 years old, where belonged to the dance group of the school till he started the high school Colegio Nacional San Simon, where belonged to the band military, group folk, orchestra, dance, theater and painting.
Studied music at the Music Conservatory of Tolima in 1996 – 1997.
Thereafter studied degree in Music 1997 – 1998.
In 2004 receives a degree in Systems Engineering in the UNIVERSITY COOPERATIVE OF COLOMBIA, this degree was focused to the production and musical computing.
In 2003 he participates in the 2nd Festival of Science, getting the first place with his project: Digital Music.
He has traveled a lot of the Colombian Territory with different Musical groups such as: The Rock Music Merger, Ballad – Pop, Tropical Music, reggaetton, salsa, merengue, Mexican Music, Bolero, Vallento, and Latin Jazz among others.
He has made part of several highly recognized bands and musical groups of the region such as: Grupo Libre, La Dinámica Orquesta, Los Master de Colombia, Grupo Oro, Los Frenéticos Orquesta, La Nueva Ley Orquesta, Orquesta La Grand Escala, Expreso Buenas Peras, Banda La Misión, Sin Límite, La Gran Virtud, La Propiedad, Kimbombó Orquesta, Ziguaraya Band, The Tropical Sin, Gabriel Rey y su banda, Banda Ancha, Zona Roja, Mariachi Monterrey, La Diferencia Orquesta, Banda del Sitio, El clan de la Salsa, Orquesta de la policía Nacional, Fusión XXI, Zafra Show, Son de Impacto, Javier Muñoz y su Orquesta, Tropibanda, Son Cartagena, La Corte Celestial, Pianista de la Banda Departamental del Tolima, Ensamble de Jazz EFAC, Línea Directa, Magic Sound, OrqueSta El Kartel.
Alejandro has specialized in the accompanying of Artistes such as: Yerik Rey as Marck Anthony of the reality show YO ME LLAMO (Caracol TV), El Joe, The Leyend (RCN TV), Orlando Atencia, Ricardo Fuentes, Edgar Marrugo, singers of La Billos Caracas Boys, Gustavo Rodriguez, Mickey Taveras, Yan Collazo, Cristian Fernandez, Bazil, Ray Sepulveda.
In 2006 - 2007 Alejandro makes his first intenational tour in the United Emirates Arab, participating in different bands like Kache Band, Cane & Coffee, Contravia Latin Band and working as pianist in Hotels: Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa – El Malecon Latin Club, Trader Vic’s – Crowne Plaza, Madinat Jumeirah - Trader Vic's, Jumairah Hotel.
In 2009 - 2010 performed his second tour again in United Emirates Arab where worked as music arranger and director of Calle 8 Band, Musical Producer in the album Confusion by Fatiniza with the song "Fortune Teller" and as pianist in the Latin American Party in Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa, The Boardwalk, Brazilian Concert in the Formula 1 in Abu Dhabi, Le Royal Meridian Hotel Abu Dhabi – Colombia is Passion Event.
In March of 2011 to August – Alejandro comes for the third time United Emirates Arab where worked as music arranger and director of Calle 8 Band in the Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa El Malecon Latin Club and as Music Producer of Edikson Duarte with the bachata song “Still Love you”.
In 2012 became part of Authors Association of Colombia “Sayco”.
Alejandro it’s been part of the TV Show, El Show de las Estrellas – Caracol Channel performing in different cities of Colombia and accompanying different artistes.
On several times has been jury at National Contests as “The Golden City”, and also in musical school competitions of his city.
Along his career, Alejandro has already produced over 200 Jingles, over 100 single songs and has joining as music producer, arranger and pianist in:
